One year ago I wasn’t 1% as busy as I am now

Hey, friends! Here I am, updating you from a super intense period of my life. I have to finish all the uni work, did chakra work as well, got a cold as a result (a sign, that I am letting go of something old but the moment isn’t the best haha) and now hoping that I will be done with everything in time!

Above you see some samples of the stuff I did during the drawing course at uni and at home as homework. These are really just a few, I’ve got like 29 drawings/paintings/studies. But yeah, this is part of a fashion design study and I’m so glad I had the chance to enhance my drawing skills! Sometimes, it was a pain in the ass, I’ve never really drawn before, but in the end, it’s wonderful 🙂 Soo, finally I finished this portfolio and can concentrate on the theoretical tasks (woohoo XD). Aaaand when this is over I’ll beam myself to Berlin and help my bae with her work haha. It’s been ages, gotta see her. Now – time to get ready for bedtime. Hugs to all of you! xoxo Jule

P.S. Last year this time we lay on the beach, turned up the tune in our car, watched GoT and tried out life as a full-time blogger. How time changes. Not bad, just different 😉

My day through 20mm/f1.7

HEJ kids and lovers!

Life got upgraded yesterday; I bought myself a new lens, which is barely larger than the lid of a marmalade jar! It’s the Panasonic Lumix 20mm/f1.7 Pancake (did I hear pancake??) lens which is a prime lens and, obviously, extremely light-sensitive with it’s wide aperture!

I got it through eBay-kleinanzeigen.de which I currently am obsessed with! It’s so light that I am able to carry my fairly big Lumix GH3 in my purse all day! A dream!

So yesterday my sister and I went to a furniture shop to get me a mattress and pillow, then we wanted to collect a chair (via eBay again) but it didn’t fit my need. So we went to my new flatshare and put up my bed, had chinese take-away and cider and just chilled on the floor in that empty flat… real cozy, honestly 😀

The next days are all about moving in and moving stuff, so… weird. Anytime I moved in the last 2 years (abroad) I didn’t have too much stuff and no furniture. But I am so so so lucky and grateful to have those glorious people around who help me day in and out! Like in general… I am fricking thankful for my family and friends. They give me so much and deserve all my love ❤

Hey you guys!

It’s been quite around here the last few days… I am currently working on an art portfolio and I feel like the days are passing by so quickly. The only way to slow down “time” is to be in absolut focus and awareness. Obviously every moment is packed with lots of sensations, which, normally, tend to get lost in our busyness of everyday life. But if you observe every second they will, I believe, expand tremendously.

I’ll be back with some samples of the sketches and drawings I make. But I am not really satisfied with them yet, so have a little patience 🙂
