Awww these days, when all you are craving is heaps of fresh, raw salad and you still got lots of homegrown sprouts in the fridge *___* A huge plus of summer is that I can have lots of tasty tomatoes without guilt (sometimes the craving during the winter is too strong but I know tomatoes are summer food only :X) and I don’t feel cold from a salad haha (this is actually a real thing in winter… ). Here I added avocado, corn, cucumber, cherry tomatoes and alfalfa sprouts and topped it with raw hemp oil and some italian herbs. Especially when eating raw (but not only), I really want my food to be organic, so this beauty here is all pesticide and GMO-free!
Try eating your salad with chopsticks, it is fun, takes longer, makes you appreciate and taste every bite more and leaves you replete quicker 🙂

Here I am, back with the first batch of pictures from my trip to Amsterdam. As I said before, Anna and I decided spontaneously to visit our friend and former housemate Millie from Bristol, wo moved to Amsterdam for studying with Erasmus. It’s been a year that we haven’t seen us, from the point that Anna and I left England to swap it for Portugal. In addition, I’ve never been to Amsterdam before (at least I can’t remember) and was so curious ever since Anna started to enthuse about it about 2,5 years ago!
So here we were, in midst of that vibrant city, sourrounded by tons of lovely (coffee) shops, flowers, stunning interiors, open windows, vintage goodness etc etc! Every detail in the centre is just so heartwarming and very obviously made with love! So have a look at the pictures, more are yet to come 🙂
Hello friends! Just got a notification from bea to update my blog and sometimes I just need an reminder, because days go by and there are so many things to get done, but then again it is so nice to save some thoughts on my blog for later.
So what is going on? I currently have a week off and use it to catch up on my nutritional health studies and hopefully finish some uni homework. I’ve been enjoying a lot of family time lately and this is grounding me a lot! Tomorrow (oh em gee?!?!) I’ll be heading to Berlin to freak out together with Anna about the fact that we’ll be in Amsterdam a few hours later :O I’ve never consciously been in Amsterdam (maybe as a kid but I can’t remember) and I know from my friends that it’s EPIC! So really looking forward to visit this city and our former housemate Millie from Bristol : )))
Also I am thinking about doing a little column about my fashion design studies, like what is happening in the courses, the tasks etc. Would that be interesting to you guys? I, personally, never had a clear idea of what art students actually do and how the study looks like 🙂 Let me know xx

My beloved sister criticized that I don’t blog enough recently 😛 So here you go, a splendid picture of a smoothie bowl I had for breakfast some days ago, when I actually had time and fruits this day 😀 Well, let’s not exaggerate here; a smmmmothie bowl takes like 5 minutes MAXIMUM and for this one I only used one banana+frozen strawberries+mandarine for the smoothie and topped it with another banana, coconut shreds and hemp seeds!
Speaking of hempseeds..Let’s do some real talk about them! 🙂
According to purehealingfoods.com they are the most nutritious seeds in the world! They combine proteins, essential fats, vitamins, enzymes and minerals (phosphorus, magnesium, calcium,iron,potassium, manganese and zinc) in perfection! Additionally they almost lack any sugar, starches or saturated fats! It is said that they have many health benefits such as leading to lowered colesterol and blood sugar, weight loss, increased energy, rapid recovery from disease or injury etc pp.
You can do your own research, it’s mindblowing and Anna and I were astounded when she first read about it! Now I have them back in stock-finally. And I suggest to you to do the same 🙂
Trust, to me, is a key element for a balanced life. Trust is what slows down stressful moments. When I am worrying about an specific outcome, time, my ability, the future, health, relationships, STUFF – I remember to trust. Because if I know one thing, then it is that everything, in the end, fits together and makes perfect sense! There is a reason to all that is in life. Having trust doesn’t mean to stop caring about the events in your life, as in “it doesn’t matter what I do, life will happen as it will anyway”. No, take the strings and make it what you want it to be, but relax when you are in a situation where you can’t assume control anymore. Have faith, that you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. For instance, when I rush in the morning and have to wait for train, already anticipating that I’ll be late, I can either stress out internally or just “let it be”. Because there is no point in overcalculating here, I am where I am and if I trust, things will work out (and then, the prof is late as well or no one noticed that I was late etc). Just as we have the possibility to create our own life we have the option to let life guide us now and then 🙂
I do trust that the universe has my back and that is has grand intentions for my existence here on earth, so why not just chill? xx Jule
Another “moving -in” sunday! This time we painted a wall, 2 massive chalkboards and set up some stuff! Tis literally screamed for kebab so I went to get some oriental goodness! We have this kebab and falafel place just around the corner that has looooots of vegan options! From tofu to seitan döner/burger, falafel,vegan dürüm, 5 vegan sauces and a lot more that I can’t remember rn 😛 I had a vegan falafel kebab without bread, so actually just salad (love the kabab salad!) wit hummus, mango sauce, aubergine paste and fresh homemade falafel.
Today was packed as well. Uni till 5 with one really good class about art history, then I shopped some art supplies and deco items that were on sale (I’m such a sale sucker hahaha) , next I rushed home and arrived JUST ON TIME to catch the postman (who had a package for me). Further I went to the post office to drop off a parcel and afterwards went back to the city again to meet Vero and Enn, two girls I study with. After a short visit at Vero Moda which yielded me 3 very needed trousers I took the tram home and helped Eva, carrying her stuff into the flat (late night workout!). Now I should be in bed sleeping, but no, I am blogging for you guys haha! 9 days till we get w-lan by the way! I hope you are doing great loves, catch you later and good night ❤ xxx
Hola gente! This is yesterdays post that I couldn’t upload so ere you go:
Today Lotte arrived and we are finally all together for the first time! I spent the night at my mum’s place and got back at 4 pm, then Eva and I unpacked like 10.000 pieces of kitchen stuff from Lotti and later had pumpkin soup for dinner! Tommorrow is Ikea-time to get a few last things 🙂 (Turned out we needed so much stuff again…ugh. But it is getting more and more homely now)
btw, did I tell you about my second day at uni? It was lush, we had a crafts test where our sewing skills were tested (I was so nervous before that but in the end it was super chill!) and therefore I already got to work on the sewing machine! So much fun 🙂
Wow this blogging game is going strong right know haha! Today wasn’t that super special, I went grocery shopping and enjoyed carrying home bags that had a min weight of 177253 kg. New-flat “problems”:D Then I cleaned the flat and eventually decided to spend the evening at my mums place (free food included! :P). It’s always good to see her and my stepdad,so I just did 🙂
Anyway, here you’ve got a glimpse of my new room! It’s finally kinda done and I am super happy with the result 🙂 It’s both cozy and “clean” enough for a productive creativity flow. Tomorrow Lotti (my friend and flatmate) is gonna come to our new home and truly moving in :))

Just a quick update: I spent a fuckin lovely weekend with Anna here in Leipzig and the Elbe Sandstone Mountains (for the Germans out there: yes, that is supposed to be the right translation 😛 ), it was a very very active one and we left our comfort zones multiple times! I’ll upload pictures and reports later, right now I am not feeling so well, catched a cold Also I gotta go make rosemary potato wedges 😀
