just to prevent you from another “oh still that old post, nothing new on here, yawn”-moment ; a little update.
I spent the weekend in Berlin together with my dad and a big part of my family! We came together to celebrate my lovely cousin Claras birthday! For me, who watches every coin right know to save up money for amazing future trips (woooo) [trips in terms of travelling 😉 ] these three days were luuuux! Went to a vietnamese restaurant the first day, bought TONS of fresh local organic veggies from a little village shop to make a nice potato-swede-cauliflower-carrot casserolethe other day, vegan choc-mint icecream at night (don’t take me as an example kids) aaaand a raw vegan acai-bowl (best thing are the raspberries and raw cocoa nibs) + “Macao” cocoa with maca + glutenfree vegan cookie @ HOPE Superfood Deli. Deeelish guys!! So, as I said, luxury, and I am really grateful for the quality family time we had together 🙂
Right, now I really have to study efficiently for my upcoming exams and nutrition study! By the way: it is spring already (NUTS!) I love love love it! Favourite time 🙂 Alright, hugs to you, stay healthy, cheers Jula xxx
Soooo you guys, last part of my travel diary via pictures! Everytime I look at them I realize again how much I enjoyed it and how inspiring that city is 🙂 Meanwhile in reallife: tomorrow is the last day of uni before holidays and it’s gonna be a tough one (10 am – 8pm). Today though we had a christmas party for the whole uni and it was so cool 🙂 At the beginning it was quite lame and people left because it was mainly mulled wine drining and biscuit eating without interesting interactions. But I somehow knew that I’d just have to stay a little longer and voilà, it was worth it! Pauli (a classmate) and I got to know more students from other courses (game design) and had quite a lot of fun! I love being connected to other uni courses but it can be slightly difficult at the start. However, we grew together a bit more and had a good evening 🙂
Two phone pics from last weekend when I went to one of Berlins 103 christmas markets! (Doesn’t that sound insane? No surprise that other countries “borrow” the one or other market for teir own cities like Bristol, which hosts a original german Weihnachtsmarkt!
I am now somewhere at the airport, let’s wish for good weather in the Netherlands! What I hope for from this trip? A love-filled reunion with my babe, safe travels, longs strolls and deep talks, pleasently encountering new dimensions, reasonable vegan restaurants and some lovely vintage finds!
Puh, I guess I can say without any exaggeration that I’ve been super lazy blogging!
But not because I didn’t have any ideas or feel like it, no… I’ve been actually super busy doing other things. I know, this is not typically me. But the last few weeks were so packed with all that stuff that is leading me into the life of a student. New flat, new flatmates, worries and excitement towards the future! It’s funny playing this society game haha! I mean how hilarious is life? 7 months ago I didn’t waste a single thought on the option of studying 😀 So now I’ll take things as they are and give my best to stay conscious and always remember the true values of life!
Like moments like this. I said it before and I’ll say it again:
My closest friends and family can always come to mine. Babe, I’m honest. Looking forward to the day that I come home and bae is laying in my bed (with some vegan baked goods haha or mashed potatoes and peas). This also goes out to my sweetest sister, as well as my cousin. Just to count a few 🙂
Pictures I took of my blue overall which kinda looks like work clothing, you know, those blue onesies workers wear a at a construction site 😀 It used to have two basic straps over the shoulders but one went off so I made a neck holder top out of it! I love this one, from the first day I bought it in England, but it seems like I’ve grown or it shrinked because it’s a bit to tight now. Not visible on pictures but it’s just uncomfy Therefore I’ll sell it. I think. Or I’ll think of a way to make it larger. Haha!
A group of my old friends from school and I went to Poland and the city of Danzig (Gdansk) to do what we did in Prague 2 years earlier: coming together to camp, have fun, drink, laugh, cook, chill etc. This time our campground was almost directly at the beach (5 mins walking) and we had a huge “base camp” framed by a DDR caravan , VW T5, TIPI tent, a hammock, ale-benches and a tripod holding a huge kettle/cauldron. I didn’t take a camera this year because it just nicer sometimes not to think of taking pictures all the time, but these two here, which I took in Prague, pretty much show the situation!
Well, after 7 days of heavy rain to baking heat we made it back and I went straight to Anna’s. It took us less than an hour and we were diving deeper than my head could process that quickly! We talked about the anunaki “gods” and how there is no such thing like a setting sun, because it’s just us who “turn our backs to the sun”. The sun itself shines day and night so basically there’s absolutely no need for TIME as in DAYTIME and NIGHTTIME. The NOW finally made perfect sense because in the past I used to think:
“Ok if time does not exist and time counting is manmade, why do we have day and night?” But then it hit me and I actually felt dizzy, because the simple fact that the earth is circling doesn’t mean that we need the concept of time.
Howsoever, this is kinda hard to explain. What we have is now and that is more than enough 🙂 Kiss!
Let me introduce you to my current comfort zone : my life. And you know what’s about to happen? Growth. Because whats happening right know is getting me nowhere and this has to and will be changed (now).
More focus. On my “worldly” goals and, above all, my spiritual ones. I know I could get everything I want (doesn’t have to be materialistic but involves life qualities such as the feeling of freedom and abundance and unconditional love) within like 10 days IF I ONLY STARTED! Ok, end of speech.
Friday, with a touch of spontaneity, I took the coach and train to my old hometown and visited Anna. She thought a lot of things changed and the distance may be a barrier for us BUT OF COURSE (and luckily) we just vibed so strong together again, felt the love and talked about feelings, goals, thoughts etc. I am so grateful for our connection. Just to be understood. And to have the same idea of what life really means. We went to Bora Bora a.k.a the lake Müritz and went swimming just about the same time that the sun set. “Looks good!” she joked as I tried to heave myself unto the bathing jetty, which was quite high. “SO take a picture!!” I screamed back before we were bursting with laughter, me still pressing my body on that landing, not able to push it up fully 😀
An honest, authentic, funny, relaxing, spontaneous, yummy, super warm, summery weekend filled with love. So grateful 🙂
Game of Throne inspired dress I made lately : ) It’s actually made out of one curtain I got for 5o cents in Sweden, can you tell? 😀 Handmade, ecofriendly, upcycled! Let’s see what we can make out of stuff that already exists xx
it certainly would, if I wouldn’t stop it from doing so first.I can get really nervous before doing something that I can’t completely control in terms of “what will happen/how will it be/can I do this/…” This happens the most when I am about to try something new. Music classes, group events, or – most frequent – sports. Whilst writing this I kinda realize that it could just be appointments in general which stress me out… mh. Anyways, I’ve always been a sporty kid. Not always by choice, but it played a huge role in my life all along. Strangely, it happens that I am super nervous before a training… even if I know what to expect! But it’s just the mind which tells me “Argh, you must plan, you have to schedule that and then you’re not even sure what will happen – whereas at home (aka comfort zone) everythings so safe and relaxed!”
Same thing today when Lotte asked me to come along to her frisbee class tonight. Whuat, today?? I was afraid of the circumstances… concerned about if I felt good enough, the weather conditions, my timing… however, I went. And it was great. Exhaustingly great and fricking cold.
Not that it was simply freezing, it started to rain and then soft hail, wich really hurt our frozen hands! But we continued, dried a little, got soaked by the rain again and finally ended the training with contentment happiness! I definitely learned (once again)that I can approach new things more relaxed and laid back, because everything will work out fine 🙂
It’s a while ago that I felt SUCH GRATITUDE for my home and a hot shower, wow! I know guys, it’s uncomfortable to admit, but the comfort zone is so much cozier after leaving it (and then coming back) 🙂 Next we watched Game of Thrones and now I am super done, in a positive way! Looking forward to being productive tomorrow! Night! ❤
It takes courage to do the first action, everything that follows is your reward! The universe takes care of everything and gives you all that is good – if you only take the first step!
Why am I still awake… after a students party marathon and a very short and cold night last night… Yeah right because I really want to update my blog before heading off to the next adventure – SWEDEN tomorrow!
It really makes sense, you’ll see – my sister got herself a car, my stepdad planned to go up north for a week, she wanted to come along and offered to drive with her new car. With her she takes two of her best buddies… and me! When I came back from Portugal I got asked because there was still one seat left in the car, so I was like why not haha! It’s always such a beautiful time up there (my stepdad is lucky enough to own a cute little house in the middle of Swedens nowhere) and so I am really exited 🙂 Fortunately, when in Sweden and in the countryside, you almost don’t need anything… comfy pants, sweater, outdoor jacket. Guitar, camera, music, wine 🙂 Still have to pack my things and make provisions tomorrow, and this time we’ll even have wi-fi in the house (first time for me in like 10 years) so maybe I can still blog 🙂 But primarily I want to use the time to get back to nature, back to myself… training mindfulness and being aware of all those little things 🙂
Sleep well and see you later girls and boys ❤
