A most amazing weekend

IMG_1813IMG_1820

Hey you lovely being sitting in front of the screen,

I am back from a very special roadtrip my people Anna and Elsa + moi went on! Without planning, we visited plenty of cities in western Germany we’ve never seen before! Most of them were true gems, super pretty and with a good vibe! We then slept in a forest, had campfires (who needs boys tho ;D) and indulged in the feeling of freedom and pure living. We ain’t need nothing more but the peaceful nature, a warming fire, filling food and our company… love it! Anyway, when I find the time (please be patient with me, I think I’m currently in my busiest phase of life so far) I’ll provide you with some phone snaps of our trip 🙂

Until then: 2 quick pics of my famous vegan glutenfree sugarfree buckwheat waffles. You are welcome 😉

My comfort zone

_1250066Let me introduce you to my current comfort zone : my life. And you know what’s about to happen? Growth. Because whats happening right know is getting me nowhere and this has to and will be changed (now).

More focus. On my “worldly” goals and, above all, my spiritual ones. I know I could get everything I want (doesn’t have to be materialistic but involves life qualities such as the feeling of freedom and abundance and unconditional love) within like 10 days IF I ONLY STARTED! Ok, end of speech.

Friday, with a touch of spontaneity, I took the coach and train to my old hometown and visited Anna. She thought a lot of things changed and the distance may be a barrier for us BUT OF COURSE (and luckily) we just vibed so strong together again, felt the love and talked about feelings, goals, thoughts etc. I am so grateful for our connection. Just to be understood. And to have the same idea of what life really means. We went to Bora Bora a.k.a the lake Müritz and went swimming just about the same time that the sun set. “Looks good!” she joked as I tried to heave myself unto the  bathing jetty, which was quite high. “SO take a picture!!” I screamed back before we were bursting with laughter, me still pressing my body on that landing, not able to push it up fully 😀

An honest, authentic, funny, relaxing, spontaneous, yummy, super warm, summery weekend filled with love. So grateful 🙂

Throwback Portugal

Just a little throwback to our b-e-a-utiful time (comment if you get it 😉 ) in Porto.. gosh, I remember how I couldn’t realize being actually there, on the road, in a car, at the beach, in our own house, all along. And I knew it would seem like a fairytale when I’d return some day. We didn’t stay as long as we’d thought, but this -to me- only means that we’ll be back soon. Looking forward to actually start surfing and feel the truly energetic strength of the waves… it’s not explainable but I felt something I haven’t felt before when jumping into the waves in February. However, I am grateful for the very moment, really am. Got football shoes today for frisbee… excited to try them out. My mum said I look like a little football fanatic boy when walking in them in our flat 😀

Much love and light to every single one of you, we are one ❤

Breathe in

We arrived- finally! 25 hours on the road and ferry, 5 passengers with lots of food and even more baggage. We slept in our sleeping bags in a corner of a hallway on the ferry, which brought us over to Sweden over night 🙂 it’s fresh and both sunny and rainy here, but the air is so crisp and awesome, it’s just fantastic 😀 I’m gonna sleep well tonight, I wish the same to you too ❤

Back to nature – Sweden

Why am I still awake… after a students party marathon and a very short and cold night last night… Yeah right because I really want to update my blog before heading off to the next adventure – SWEDEN tomorrow!

It really makes sense, you’ll see – my sister got herself a car, my stepdad planned to go up north for a week, she wanted to come along and offered to drive with her new car. With her she takes two of her best buddies… and me! When I came back from Portugal I got asked because there was still one seat left in the car, so I was like why not haha! It’s always such a beautiful time up there (my stepdad is lucky enough to own a cute little house in the middle of Swedens nowhere) and so I am really exited 🙂 Fortunately, when in Sweden and in the countryside, you almost don’t need anything… comfy pants, sweater, outdoor jacket. Guitar, camera, music, wine 🙂 Still have to pack my things and make provisions tomorrow, and this time we’ll even have wi-fi in the house (first time for me in like 10 years) so maybe I can still blog 🙂 But primarily I want to use the time to get back to nature, back to myself… training mindfulness and being aware of all those little things 🙂

Sleep well and see you later girls and boys ❤

Best night in Porto!

party

Yesterday night was a BLAST! We don’t always go out lately, in fact we haven’t been out once during our stay in Portugal. Until yesterday! Quite spontaneously (as always), I finally agreed to Annas idea of exploring Porto’s nightscene! It’s different having a car, so much more comfortable and easy! So we drove into the city, walked through the centre and found a super cute, cozy bar with a very quaint athmospere! After an non-alcoholic mojito for me and an ubersweet sangria for Anna we moved on. We got quite good along with the son of the pub owner and got recommendations for were we should go next!

As we already have april-like weather conditions over here, it started to rain heavily. Quick quick! The hotspot is not far from the centre, 3 minutes walk and you’ll find yourself in one of 3 streets full of bars, clubs and tons of people! Another drink in a dance-bar, which was more visited by older people though. The next bar we stayed in (almost all of them got free entry!!!) was so crowded, you could barely move. Anna spotted a guy next to us, blond hair, pale skin. “Sprichst du deutsch?”, meaning “Do you speak german?” she asked. “How do you know?” he replied astounded. Well, it was too obvious! As far as possible we got into talking (or rather screaming into one’s ear) and eventually joined the group of maybe 6/7 spanish and german guys and girls, who actually paid for a pub crawl from the hostel and so were on a tour trough the best bars and clubs! Since I was still talking to that german guy we decided to just join them on their crawl and went into a dancebar, which had a second floor downstairs. Quicker as I could even realize we stood in the midst of that international group of super funny people bursting with energy, started to dance and didn’t stop till 4 in the morning! As the night went along everyone got to know everyone, but honestly more the boys than the girls, and I had so so sooooo much fun! It’s crazy how one little act can change a whole period of time and open so many opportunities!

As it was a pub-crawl they moved on to the next club – but what is that? A doorkeeper means paying means we are out. We already wanted to say goodbye to the boys, but – they weren’t just superficially nice, no, they really cared. In the end they convinced the crawl-guide-girl to help us! So she told the bouncer that we lost our entry wristbands and eventually – believe it or not – we scurried past him and got into the club for FREE! Now this is what I call a miracle!

I don’t know, it may sound like a normal night out, but firstly, this is rather an exception for me and secondly, the circumstances were so crazy tight! We spend some more hours shaking buts to Rihanna, Drake, charts and badass remixes of tunes both old and new, squatting and twisting, laughing, singing and flirting. But we were still like a big group of old friends, so casual, and we’ve only met them like 4 hours ago!

Anyway, it was such great fun, I can’t get over it haha! These guys were exceptionally cool in terms of ease, dancing (like I’ve never seen guys dancing like that – that hip swinging had Dirty Dancing qualities!!) and realness! No fake trying to be cool or inapproachable, just having fun with new friends that all didn’t know each other for longer than 5 hours!

However, at 4 am we left, due to the growing mass of off – turning, groping men and Annas feet – her shoes already hurt at the beginning of the night, so she was super brave and persevered the whole night – which weren’t willing to stay in those strappy heels anymore!

Oh, did I mention that I didn’t have one drink and still had the best night ever? It really makes no difference as long as you feel comfortable with the people around you! By the way, the second I got on the road to drive home rain started to buck down like – you can’t even imagine! Fate! What an awesome night and – PORTOS NIGHTLIFE IS DEFINETELY WORTH A TRY!
