Busy living life

Puh, I guess I can say without any exaggeration that I’ve been super lazy blogging!

But not because I didn’t have any ideas or feel like it, no… I’ve been actually super busy doing other things. I know, this is not typically me. But the last few weeks were so packed with all that stuff that is leading me into the life of a student. New flat, new flatmates, worries and excitement towards the future! It’s funny playing this society game haha! I mean how hilarious is life? 7 months ago I didn’t waste a single thought on the option of studying 😀 So now I’ll take things as they are and give my best to stay conscious and always remember the true values of life!

Like moments like this. I said it before and I’ll say it again:

My closest friends and family can always come to mine. Babe, I’m honest. Looking forward to the day that I come home and bae is laying in my bed (with some vegan baked goods haha or mashed potatoes and peas). This also goes out to my sweetest sister, as well as my cousin. Just to count a few 🙂

Overall by Dorothy Perkins

Pictures I took of my blue overall which kinda looks like work clothing, you know, those blue onesies workers wear a at a construction site 😀 It used to have two basic straps over the shoulders but one went off so I made a neck holder top out of it! I love this one, from the first day I bought it in England, but it seems like I’ve grown or it shrinked because it’s a bit to tight now. Not visible on pictures but it’s just uncomfy :/ Therefore I’ll sell it. I think. Or I’ll think of a way to make it larger. Haha!

About cruising on earth

I’m back from Danzig!

A group of my old friends from school and I went to Poland and the city of Danzig (Gdansk) to do what we did in Prague 2 years earlier: coming together to camp, have fun, drink, laugh, cook, chill etc. This time our campground was almost directly at the beach (5 mins walking) and we had a huge “base camp” framed by a DDR caravan , VW T5, TIPI tent, a hammock, ale-benches and a tripod holding a huge kettle/cauldron. I didn’t take a camera this year because it just nicer sometimes not to think of taking pictures all the time, but these two here, which I took in Prague, pretty much show the situation!

Well, after 7 days of heavy rain to baking heat we made it back and I went straight to Anna’s. It took us less than an hour and we were diving deeper than my head could process that quickly! We talked about the anunaki “gods” and how there is no such thing like a setting sun, because it’s just us who “turn our backs to the sun”. The sun itself shines day and night so basically there’s absolutely no need for TIME as in DAYTIME and NIGHTTIME. The NOW finally made perfect sense because in the past I used to think:

“Ok if time does not exist and time counting is manmade, why do we have day and night?” But then it hit me and I actually felt dizzy, because the simple fact that the earth is circling doesn’t mean that we need the concept of time.

Howsoever, this is kinda hard to explain.  What we have is now and that is more than enough 🙂 Kiss!

How to be in love instantly

Yesterday, when I stood unter the shower, I thought about the feeling of being in love and how the whole world changes, how some things get more meaningful and others don’t. How it is so magical that for everyone else the world seems normal but for you everything sparkles.

And then I realized that this sort of feeling isn’t something I have to wait for and that depends on acceptance by others, no, I can just create it myself. Because love equals self love, attention equals self-awareness,

and it is still your choice how you want to perceive the world 🙂

Hello friends 🙂

Holidays started for me today, I’ll tell you more about that later…

What is it that I am doing these days? Well, I basically chill in my sisters flat, her housemates (and her ofc) just as the whole vibe in there is just so relaxing and nice! Also, Lara and I went to the lake yesterday which is approximately a 30 min bike ride, it was super hot but also so stormy haha, not that cozy. Today I went to the frisbee training the first time since the start of august, I was seriously too busy to go the last 2 weeks.. wow! So yeah.. now I’ve got one week left in Leipzig before heading to Berlin, meeting my lovely Anna and then driving to Danzig with the old squad from school times 😛 September is still completely free, I am having some huge ideas and am hoping to realize them (travel-wise) with one special babe.

Alright, I’ve got a lot to share with you guys. Lets start with these pictures my friend Lotte took of me when we were having our birthday party… She is quite talented, isn’t she?

Catch you later friends, take care:)

My weekend

IMG_2161IMG_2156

My weekend  was so different somehow haha! Like normally when I am alone at home I’d spent lots of time inside doing nothing… especially when it’s 30 + °C outside – pretty reasonable, huh? But this time I did a lot of stuff..

On friday evening I went to Lottes (ex-) place to help her renovate a bit. This is where I spotted the beautiful flowers btw *_* Also, isn’t the quality astonishing for an iPhone 4?

When we finally finished we went back to mine, we had the place to ourselves, made a delicious veggie lasagne with cheeeeese (vegan ofc) and then watched “How to be single”. I watched it with Anna before and it was so hilariously funny I watched it again with Lotte.

On saturday I thought I could finally take a look at a climbing centre in Leipzig… I went climbing every other day in Bristol and haven’t used my gear ever since. Anyway, every circumstance spoke against going on that day, it was frickin hot outside, it was getting late, I could have gone the next day, I had no-one to go with, I would have had to cycle for 30 min. BUT I just couldn’t stand that feeling of “doing nothing and feeling bad about it” anymore, so I JUST WENT. On my own, and yeah, it was fun! I bouldered a bit, inspected the centre (which is amazing) got 3 decent blisters and went back after like 40 minutes 😀

Later Lotti and I wanted to meet up for a picnic in the park where a free open air classical music festival took place, but when I arrived it started to POUR, I was completely soaked after 3 seconds, no kidding!!! But it was warm and utterly energizing, such a good feeling!! Drenched like after a good shower I cycled back home and had my sushi without company haha, but the little trip was worth it anyway!

My hands, or rather the open blisters, hurt so much but thats part of the deal. They’ll heal quickly. Today I cleaned my room, got rid of unused stuff, sorted my wardrobe and then cooked dinner for my family – wedges with a stir fry (pak choi, broccoli, mushrooms, onion, soy sauce)  and guacamole *_* They loved it and so did I, now we are gonna enjoy a quite and cozy evening with reading and cuddling.

When rain -> indoor picnic

Because we are celebrating a birthday today, my beloved sister and I were wondering what to arrange. Actually we planned a dreamy, boho-like picnic in the park with cake, beverages, music and activities like frisbee or any other kind. Impractically we have continual, monsoon-like rainfalls since tuesday and it didn’t want to end today. So, prepared for that, we slightly changed plans and decorated our living room to create that picnic flair – just indoors. We all loved it 🙂 Wild flowers, leaves, CAKE, candles, fruit, guitar (and piano-not quite possible in the park 😀 ) lots of blankets and 1 trillion cushions! On the TV we had a 8 hour forest video from youtube haha, giving us that outdoor feeling. The birthday “kid” loved it as much as we did and the surprise was pleasant and successful!

Btw, these brownie muffins are so easy to make and super rich and satisfying!
Just sift together 1,5 cups (gluten free) flour, 1 cup whole cane sugar, 1/2 cup cocoa powder, 1 tsp baking soda and a pinch of salt.

Then add 1/3 cup canola or coconut oil, 1 cup cold water, 1 tsp vanilla and white vinegar. Stir in chocolate chips and bake for 35-40 minutes at 175 °C! Yummy!

Back to nature – Sweden

pola2

Why am I still awake… after a students party marathon and a very short and cold night last night… Yeah right because I really want to update my blog before heading off to the next adventure – SWEDEN tomorrow!

It really makes sense, you’ll see – my sister got herself a car, my stepdad planned to go up north for a week, she wanted to come along and offered to drive with her new car. With her she takes two of her best buddies… and me! When I came back from Portugal I got asked because there was still one seat left in the car, so I was like why not haha! It’s always such a beautiful time up there (my stepdad is lucky enough to own a cute little house in the middle of Swedens nowhere) and so I am really exited 🙂 Fortunately, when in Sweden and in the countryside, you almost don’t need anything… comfy pants, sweater, outdoor jacket. Guitar, camera, music, wine 🙂 Still have to pack my things and make provisions tomorrow, and this time we’ll even have wi-fi in the house (first time for me in like 10 years) so maybe I can still blog 🙂 But primarily I want to use the time to get back to nature, back to myself… training mindfulness and being aware of all those little things 🙂

Sleep well and see you later girls and boys ❤

Photoshoot in Berlin with my babe Anna ❤ Can you spot the Fernsehturm? 😀

I am wearing a vintage coat I bought in a Oxfam shop in Bristol, the yellow knit is from H&M (sale 10 €, needed it for the frosty days over here), vintage bag and scarf, black leggings and boots from Deichmann. I guess it’s obvious that I enjoy bying vintage stuff haha! I love t thougt of using / wearing something as long as it’s wearable ! This was my first photoshooting in the midst of many people in a huge city so it definetely was a new experience, but absolutely cool! Love it ! Have you had such a experience already? Let me know how you felt like :*
